I was never a cigar smoker. In fact I wasn’t event a smoker at all. They say when you smoke a Cuban cigar, you are not really smoking because you are not inhaling. This makes total sense because with cigarettes, that is exactly what you do. I guess Cuban cigars somewhat have the smoking stigma attached to it. It is only natural because people are use to making instant decisions before taking a thorough look on a particular subject.
Yes the sailors were upset when they didn’t find the so called promised land they were originally looking for. Although it was a big disappointment for the European sailors in that era and the entire team supporting expeditions like that, they stumbled upon something wildly profitable - the was the plant of tobacco.
The United States has it’s own government body that controls the distribution of tobacco products around the country and the states within in.Tobacco sales are big business and that is just the nature of the game. Although a lot of awareness has been brought up regarding cigarettes, it still hasn’t effected the Cuban cigar genre. That is because people who smoke Cuban cigars know that you don’t inhale cigar smoke. You let the Cuban cigar aroma swirl in your mouth like flavor.
Cuban cigars today come in various shapes and sizes. If their is a particular size or shape you like, most likely you will find it. Of course as long as its in a cylinder shaped form. Some of the sizes are the Robusto, the torpedo, the Churchill (Comes from Winston Churchill as a Cuban cigar inspiration) and several others.
You must give credit to the Cuban cigar marketing team (Controlled by the government of Cuba) on their amazing marketing campaign. I mean you can find Cuban cigars literally anywhere. What I love is that now you can even get Cuban cigars on the internet. It is absolutely mind boggling that you can get Cuban cigars from one end of the world to another.
