How To Enjoy Coffee With Your Food

Those who love coffee know the delicious taste of that drink feels like a dream. But coffee is not just restricted to be brewed as a drink but can be liberally used as a great ingredient in other recipes too.

Its true that coffee is mostly used in desserts it can also be used in other preparations besides sweet dishes, which we will try shortly. Glazes for meat, barbecue sauces and even chili and pot roasts can be made with a pinch of the quite versatile bean.

Whatever the recipe might be, freshness is always important, so either crush and make your own powder from the beans and use immediately or buy fresh stuff from the market. And if the preparation wants brewed coffee, do it only before making the dish with properly filtered water. And do not forget, most preparations demand coffee two or three times stronger than what you usually put in your drink.

Coffee Meatloaf Sauce

Australian Meatloaf is now no longer within the boundaries of the kangaroo country but spreading out to other parts as well.

To make the sauce add a tablespoon of instant coffee to a quarter cup of water and half cup of ketchup with a quarter cup of a nice red, dry and equal quantity of Worcestershire sauce. The mixture is complete when you add two tablespoons of lemon juice, some brown sugar, an ounce of margarine and two tablespoons of vinegar.

When the meat is thus cooked for half an hour, put the sauce in it and bake for 4 minutes more at 190C that is, 375F. Espresso Brownies

Try this one its sure to put Alice B Toklas brownies out of the race.

Put a quarter teaspoon of salt, a stick and a half of butter, and a cup of sugar in a pan for heating. Now add four ounces of shalf-sweet, diced chocolate and a teaspoon of vanilla and keep stirring until it is melted well. The time has come to add a tablespoon of your best liked crunched dark-roast into this. To bring an interesting variety yu can also try two teaspoons of espresso granules instead of dark-roast when you make it again.

Cook until all is mixed well, then put it into a mixing bowl and let it cool for some minutes.

When its still warm, take a baking pan and add three eggs, a cup of flour and pour everything into it. Half an hour is the baking time plus the cooling time and you are ready to delve into at this delicious dish!

Black Russian Cake

Choose your best liked dark chocolate cake mix and add a package of instant chocolate pudding, a cup of vegetable oil, half cup of crme de cacao, and four eggs. Now put a cup of Russian coffee that is your favorite. What you also need to put is 5 oz hot black coffee, 1/2 oz Kahlua and1 oz vodka.

Mix it well till its smooth and pour it all into a tube pan, then bake for 45 minutes at 350F or 177C. There you are!

There are so many recipes that we must not even start counting. Cookies, breads, muffins, and all types of coffee, and not to forget the yummy ice creams have never tasted better with coffee.
